This page is made to provide information regarding your new internet service and collect info needed from you to schedule your installation. Your new internet is included in your HOA dues.
We are a local internet provider founded and ran by Lake Minnetonka residents for Lake Minnetonka residents. We are located just down the road from Lakewinds in Spring Park and we're excited to welcome you and all of Lakewinds onto our network!
01 Schedule Installation
Free installations will be completed between May 30th and June 15th. After June 15th, installations may be scheduled for a one-time $100 installation cost. Using the scheduling form below, please enter your info and select and installation date. If you would also like to save time and preprogram your new router we will collect your new Wi-Fi network info ahead of time, allowing your router to instantly set itself up once it connects to our network.
Please sign up with DirecTV Stream as soon as you are able as we will be disconnecting your existing TV service. We do not provide any setup or support for DirecTV.
02 Installation Date
The day of your scheduled installation a Lakeside Networks technician will arrive and assist with your installation. Installation can be as quick as five minutes, but please allocate up to 45 minutes. Due to installations at Lakewinds slowing down and the wiring in some wings being unpredictable, we are no longer offering self installations.
03 Post Installation
Post-installation internet support will be handled by Lakeside Networks. You may reach us at 612-444-8664 or support@tonka.network. All TV support will be handled by DirecTV.
If you ever move out of your unit, please leave your equipment behind for the next tenant. Please do not factory reset your equipment under any circumstances as it may lead to a service call.

Important Information
- FOR EXISTING MEDIACOM INTERNET SUBSCRIBERS: You must put in a request to cancel your existing service with your current cable provider for us to be able to disconnect your existing service. If this is not completed by your installation day we will not be able to disconnect your existing cable internet service unless you have put in a request to cancel. Lakeside Networks recommends tenants to set their service end date for their current provider for two weeks after your installation date.
- If you are only using cable for TV and a different internet provider whether it's cellular or DSL (Frontier) you may disregard this urgency, as the cancellation notice for cable TV is done by the HOA.
- Weekend and evening installation slots will be available for those that need their internet connection 9-5.
- Lakeside Networks is providing a modem and router at no additional cost to you, but remains the owner of the equipment. If you are to ever move out, please leave this equipment behind or you may be charged for replacing them.
